Errors of judgment which occur after a driver adjusted his speed to a defined limit, for example at motorway exits are studied. Tests were done and it was found that the test subjects traveling as passengers estimate speed less well than those in the driving seat. However, errors made by drivers increase, the greater the degree of alteration in speed.
