Samenvatting
This report presents the results of an investigation into the relationship between road characteristics and accidents. The accidents are classified by severity level (material damage, injury, death), and by type (two vehicles-bicycle; vehicle-pedestrian). The influence of the following factors on the accident occurrence is studied: highway type, time, width of the road, curves, slipperiness guardrails and planting.
