Samenvatting
An experimental analysis of sitting posture is presented. Healthy subjects and persons with musculo-sceletal disorders are investigated in a seat with variable back-rest. X-rays and electromyographic findings are compared. Persons with marked limitation of hip movements show the most incorrect sitting posture with regard to the lumbar spine.
