Samenvatting
A survey is given of the experiences with eye-sight tests for driving licence applicants in the German Federal Republic since 1952. Statistical data are presented for sight tests in Bavaria since the introduction in 1963. The results of these tests, the main deficiencies found and the prescribed remedies and limitations are discussed.
