A prospect on the demand of individual traffic to be expected in West Germany for the years to come, subdivided as to purposes of transport, shows that the compliance with this demand requires a further increase of the motorcar stocks. According to this motorcar stock of at least 22 million can be expected to operate in West Germany by 1985. Motorcars will further on play their predominating part in our transport systems during the time under consideration.
