Samenvatting
This synthesis deals with the various aspects of jointing practices varying from simple butt joints to complex designs. Problems at joints are related to magnitude of movement, load transfer mechanism, base support, and moisture as well as frost environment. Details of design, construction and maintenance of concrete pavements are included in this report.
