Design features and safety aspects of exit and entry facilities on motorways in the European Union EU.

This paper presents an analysis and comparison of different entry and exit facilities on motorways in the different EU countries. Design, marking, signing and operational regulations are described. Safety aspects are also dealt with. The information is collected from ministries or road departments in the different EU countries.
