Samenvatting
Low- traffic roads (less than 1500 veh /day) represent in France the greatest part of the rural road system, and concern all local networks. This secondary network, which plays a major role in the economical and social development of the country, ischaracterised by the great range of use and users. Present priorities concern investment preservation and road modernisation and improvement of safety and quality of service.
