Samenvatting
A practical structural design method recently developed in Belgium is presented. The proposed method results from field observations, from a study of design parameters (load charac- teristics, material properties, climatic factors)and from anapplication of layered elastic theory. It leads to a set of design charts concerning flexible and rigid road structures.
