Samenvatting

This study describes some effects of fatigue, induced directly by hypnotic suggestion on the speed of detecting targets in the visual periphery while maintaining pursuit tracking. The data strongly suggest that the effects of hypnotically induced fatigue are similar quantitatively and qualitatively to the effects of sustained performance in a highly routine control situation.
