Determination of the powers any given matrix and application on discrete Markov processes.

The powers of a quadratic matrix are given as explicit functions of the exponent, after which the discovered formula is applied on discontinuous Markov processes with discontinuous time. In this scope some theoretical applications, especially a limit approach for discontinuous, homogeneous processes with continuous time are given. An example is discussed.
