Developing a new computerized breath test program: Washington's experience with the BAC Verifier Datamaster.

The BAC Verifier Datamaster is an advanced state- of- the- art breath testing instrument. It represents a new generation of breath test technology. The instrument quantitatively analyzes ethyl alcohol in vapour phase by means of infrared analysis following Beer's Law. The BAC Verifier Datamaster contains a microprocessor by which it is linked to a host computer.
