Development and field testing of a breath alcohol activated automobile interlock.

Over the past 10 years there has been a continued interest in the development of an in-vehicle device that could prevent or deter an intending driver when impaired due to alcohol consumption's. This paper describes a device, the Lion Analytics VBM, which measures the BAC of an intending motorist.
