The structures and materials laboratory of the national aeronautical establishment is currently engaged in a study of the dynamic behaviour of vehicle - road barrier impact.in particular,this study is currently directed towards development of a validated digital computer simulation of an automobile impacting a flexible safety barrier.the programme reported herein deals particularly with the cable configuration.
