The development of internet-based land vehicle position providing system.

A land vehicle geographic position providing system was developed for commercial vehicle operations. Core design issues regarding GAS, GPS, wireless data communication and web-based technology to develop such a system in an internet environment are described. The implementation technology is presented with client/server solution in spatial data processing and realtime map production technique suitable for an internet-based service.
