Samenvatting

Radio Frequency (RF) communication such as vehicle-to-vehicle communication and road-to-vehicle communication is expected for intelligent transportation system (ITS) technologies to solve the problems such as traffic jam and traffic accidents. Consequently vehicles with RF applications should have many antennas corresponding to the bands that applications use. Therefore miniaturization and easy installation of antennas are the design task of priority. In Japan, 720MHz band is allocated for vehicle-to-vehicle communication because of its strong diffraction, and 5.8GHz is allocated for road-to-vehicle communication. Therefore, this paper proposes the antenna covers those bands and 2.4GHz as an additional application.
