Devant les difficultes que representent la prise de decisions et le besoin grandissant d' ameliorer la gestion des operations d' entretien hivernal, le ministere des Transports initiait au debut des annees 2000, un projet pilote visant a developper un systeme d' aide a la decision en viabilite hivernale adapte aux besoins specifiques de son personnel operationnel. Ce systeme d' aide aux decisions devait permettre, au personnel concerne d' avoir acces a de l' information meteoroutiere de qualite, et ce, en continu au cours de la periode hivernale. Afin de concretiser ce systeme d' aide aux decisions, un systeme d' acquisition de donnees a ete cree. Ce systeme d' acquisition de donnees permet de recueillir des donnees de capteurs meteorologiques et routiers. De plus, un site web (le systeme DVH-6024) a ete cree dans le but de diffuser rapidement les informations meteoroutieres recueillies. Les informations accessibles via ce site web concernent du meme coup les previsions meteorologiques ainsi que les observations meteorologiques et routieres. Le systeme permet egalement d' extraire, de traiter et d' exploiter des donnees recueillies par le passe a l' aide du reseau de stations meteoroutieres. Cette derniere fonctionnalite permet aux utilisateurs de realiser des analyses post evenements qui peuvent etre fortes utiles afin de valider l' efficacite des traitements appliques. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: In the early 2000s, given the difficulties presented by decision-making and the growing need to improve management of winter maintenance operations, the Ministere des Transports initiated a pilot project to develop a winter maintenance decision support system adapted to the specific needs of its operational personnel. This decision support system was intended to give the personnel concerned continuous access to quality road weather information during the winter period. To concretize this decision support system, a data acquisition system was created. This data acquisition system allows collection of data from weather and road sensors. In addition, a website (the DVH-6024 system) was created to allow rapid dissemination of the road weather information collected. The information accessible via this website concerns both weather forecasts and weather and road observations. The system also allows extraction, processing and use of the data collecting in the past through the road weather station network. This last functionality allows users to perform post-event analyses, which can be very useful to validate the effectiveness of the treatments applied.
