Samenvatting
This literature review summarises previous research which investigated the formation of dew and its effects on traffic signs. Factors such as the time of year and ideal weather conditions in the UK for dew to form, are discussed. The physical characteristics of the sign face and the way in which dew forms were also investigated. The results of this review led to a number of recommendations for a series of on-road trials.
