Samenvatting
A comprehensive investigation of the design and operation of signalized diamond interchanges including the nearly signalized intersections was conducted. A summary of the pricipal findings from the investigation is presented. The geometrics and signalization characteristics of existing diamond interchanges are discussed and computer simulation models of traffic operations in diamond interchanges were development.
