Diamond interchange traffic signal controller : an aid to the preparation of procurement specifications for microprocessor based traffic signal controllers.

The Diamond Interchange Traffic Signal Controller was developed and implemented under contract of the Federal Highway Administration. The functions of the controller include both traffic surveillance and control in either traffic actuated of fixed time modes. The controller has a wide variety of applications including ramp metering diamond interchange control and normal intersection control.
