Samenvatting
Video recordings of test drives made by five drivers in earlier tests were analysed further. In the test drives the test drivers were expected to drive around a building site. For this situation, a causal relationship between the perception behaviour of the test subject and the significance of individual categories of road elements for the vehicle steering was reported. This leads to the suggestion that by means of an optical layout of the traffic lanes and its immediate neighbourhood, the attentiveness of the driver to visual information can be alerted to a specific level.
