Samenvatting
ONSER has realised on inquiry on periodical and obligatory technical control of vehicles in nine European countries: Western Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Denmark, spain, Norway and Switzerland. The investigation aimed to gather a maximum of information on (1) the aspect of organisation and legislation (2) the technical contents of the control, and (3) studies to evaluate the effect of technical control on traffic safety.
