Samenvatting
EC directives require all member states to establish the legal basis for environmental compatibility tests in specif- ic projects including, for example, motorways and express- ways. In the Federal Republic of Germany, although formal procedural introduction and configuration of the environmental compatibility tests has not yet taken place, assessment of environmental consequences is involved approximately at all stages in the road traffic planning process.
