Samenvatting

A large sample of DUI offenders was examined to compare the differences between first offenders and multiple offenders. In addition to demographic material, multiple offenders differed from first offenders on a variety of other measured variables: including cognitive and social /emotional functions. Multiple offenders appear to be significantly more disturbed in emotional and social areas than do first offenders.
