Samenvatting
The purpose of this investigation was to study the total effect of the speed limits on road traffic accidents. Comparisons have been made between the frequency of accidents occurring on the same road with various speed limits and no speed limit. The road network subjected to this study comprised all Europe roads (E-roads) and some of large national main roads in Sweden.
