It's a competitive world. This is also valid for city centres, where space has to be used to maximum capacity, especially where parking is concerned. Giving proper dimensions to access facilities of parking garages is a necessity. This article deals with the lay-out of the entrance gates and waiting lanes. A new way of calculating waiting capacity is explained.
