Samenvatting
The speed limit on motorways as introduced in 1974 is much offended. A working group was installed to give recommendations. The increase of the speed limit from 100 km /h to 120km /h on motorways will have a negative influence on traffic safety. It is however not possible to specify this. Related to the total insecurity in traffic the effect will be small as regarded a well maintenaned limit of 100 km per hour limit.
