The paper "Injury Severity Assessment for Car Occupants Using Disability Scaling" (See IRRD 857305) is discussed here and assesses the importance of disability from injuries to different body regions and suggests that the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) score can give more different predictions regarding disability than can a probabilistic system.
