Samenvatting
The number of fatal accidents in Amsterdam varies in the last year from 80 to 120 pro annum. The number of accidents with only material damage is about 20000 pro annum. Besides the measurable consequences of the traffic unsafety there are other consequences like stress, fear and irritation. The aim of this note is to discuss the formulation of the policies and priorities by describing the nowadays traffic unsafety and to mention measures which can improve the traffic safety.
