Samenvatting
Road safety is of high public significance. It affects us all, every day. All road users must reach their destination safely. However, we notice that the number of serious road injuries continues to increase and that the decrease in road fatalities is stagnating. The government, provinces, municipalities and the transport regions together with civil society organisations have devised and described a new approach to structurally improving road safety. Only by working together can road safety be improved, while each party operates on the basis of its own responsibility and knowledge. (Author/publisher)
