Samenvatting

The purpose of the present study was to compare residual effects of lormetazepam 1 mg with those of oxazepam 50 mg on driving performance in a standard over- the- road test, 10 and 16 hours after two consecutive nights treatment. It is concluded that: 1. Lormetazepam 1 mg did not significantly impair over- the- road driving performance the day after treatment. 2. Oxazepam 50 mg seriously degrades over- the- road driving performance the morning after treatment.
