Samenvatting
The DOVER system reduces the number of departure points considerably, because a computer allocates a maximum of buses to a minimum of platforms. This requires the system not only to be fed with the basic time-table, but also with data on delays, break-downs, etc. A detection system tracks down all vehicles and panels keep both staff and public informed. The dispatcher is able to check all movements. All details can be stored in a computer memory and printed out in a later stage for further analysis.
