Simple tabult.tions are presented describing accident ch:rac- teristics of several driver groups.Such tabulations can only grossly, describe accidents and possibl1 lead to hypotheses for futher study.Records of 32,381 drivers injury-producing accidente were studied.With respect to accident type,older drivers and females showed relativel1less involvement in eingle-car accident8.In two-car accidents,the1 also showed a relatigel1 higher' frequenc.. for being struck.Age and seE differences in time and day of accidents were also shown Males were relatively more involved in night accidents and in weekend accidents
