Drivers 65 and older consistently had lower involvement rates (per 100,000 licensed drivers) in fatal crashes when compared to adult drivers 21 to 64 years old (average involvement rates over five years of 22.2 and 27.7 per 100,000, respectively). (Author/publisher)
