Samenvatting

In order to form a basis for understanding the discontinuity phenomenon under peak flow conditions, a mathematical model of driver uncertainty is developed and evaluated using experimental evidence. This simulation model provides a quantitative approach for evaluating drivers' attention where emphasis is given to the possible correlation between eye movement data and drivers' attention demands.
