Samenvatting

The purpose of this experiment was to study the interdependence between eye fixations and perceptions during road driving. Fifteen subjects drove a route of 50 km. Their eye movements were recorded by the EMR- NAC and the subjects answered questions concerning visual objects passed. The targets studied were traffic signs, lane- use control markings, pedestrian crossings, roadside advertisements and houses along the road.
