Samenvatting

This study examined the drivers behaviors on changing routes under influence of traffic information availability and travel time variability. Users and trip characteristic, and the responses to information were investigated through Revealed Preference while the drivers responses to route choices with different time duration and uncertainty, and cost properties were determined, using Stated Preference (SP) technique. The results illustrate that drivers behaviors vary by the factors that affect them to change the route. From stated choice study, the value of travel time and time variability can be obtained. Drivers appreciate reduced travel time variability than reduced duration.
