Samenvatting
Objectives and approach to driver/vehicle response research are presented. The initial phase involves simulator and full-scale driving experiments with test drivers in vehicles with a range of directional (steering) handling properties. The vehicle handling configurations being used, the manoeuvre complex and tes scenarios, and the processing and analysis of the response and performance data, are discussed.
