Driving Assessment 2003 brought together driving safety researchers from over a dozen nations. The meeting was originally conceived to fill a multidisciplinary gap in driver safety research. It brought together experts in human factors, medicine, engineering design, operations and policy in one single-track forum. These proceedings embody the quality of the meeting. The papers represent a significant contribution to the human factors and driver safety research literature. The proceedings include 39 papers, 18 abstracts, and an author index. Each paper is entered separately in the TRIS database. For abstracts of the papers see C 33557 - C 33595
