Samenvatting

This research examines the perceptions of driving risks among drug-addicts who consume illicit drugs, mixed or not with medicines, or substitution products (subutex, methadona). Its purpose is to contribute to knowledge about the effects of illicit drugs upon car driving, and about the representations of driving risks by drug addicts. It is a qualitative research which will proceed by semi-structured interviews with drug addicts (a 50 members sample) on previously known places (hospitals, and other care centres, jails, associations) during 18 months. The subject will be chosen among different socio-professional groups, from high level integrated persons to marginalized subjects. They all will have a use of driving car or two-wheeled vehicles. This research will be centered on drug addicts behaviours. It will be led by a socio-anthropologist and psychiatrists who take care of drug addicts subjects. (A)
