Samenvatting
Many drugs adversely affect the eye, but do not necessarily affect vision, or, in turn, behaviour. However, lack of ocular effects does not necessarily mean no perceptual or behavioural effects. Studies shoved that sarin, a miotic, impaired driver's gap judgements by affecting perception, but atropine, although a mydriatic, did so by affecting decision processes. Both drugs impaired confidence, but not driving skill.
