Samenvatting
This report has been prepared by the Danish Road Directorate in the context of Work Package 9 "Town Studies" which is part of the third phase of DUMAS (Developing Urban Management and Safety) project. This project was commissioned by the European Commission (EC) to consider current practices of urban safety management (USM) and to produce frameworks for the design and evaluation of cost-effective and successful urban safety initiatives. DUMAS also aimed to fill in some the fill in some of the gaps in knowledge regarding USM.
