Dynamic scheduling is a new approach to network control. It uses the concept of synchronous slots, but does not employ pre-programming or origin-destination slot reservations. Rather, it uses a combination of path reservations through interchanges and manoeuvring-space reservations. Dynamic scheduling was evaluated by simulations of a variety of networks.
