Samenvatting

Thirty-five human exposures to barrier crash impacts environment using only the air bag passive restraint system with impact velocities ranging from 15 mph through 30 mph were performed. There were statistically no significant differences in the levels of the enzymes studied. Observed trauma was more common at the higher sled deceleration profiles, less common with the lower velocity sled impacts.
