The 10th IAVSD symposium on the dynamics of roads and tracks was held at the Czech technical university, Prague, Czechoslovakia, august 24- 28 1987. The symposium covered a broad field of problems, dealing with the tools of vehicle dynamics (mathematical modelling, identification method, experimental methods) as well as with their application in the rather complex question of the vehicle- man- surroundings interactions.
