Samenvatting

The acute effects of some antidepressants on subjective state and actual car driving performance was studied before. Because performance changes under the influence of the drugs were expected to be (and in fast were) indicative of diminished cortical activation, it was tried to measure EEG correlates during driving tests. Results show clearly that electro-cortical activation, as inferred from the EMG energy spectrum, was affected by the antidepressants.
