Samenvatting
In this article an attempt is made to estimate the results of certain measures to improve the effectiveness of parking meters.It uses a model based on analysis of factors determining non-compliance in relation to the level of enforcement in Amsterdam.The conclusion is that little or no result may be expected when the restrictions of the penal system cannot be overcome or the attitude of cardrivers cannot be changed.
