Samenvatting
In the research into freight transport emphasis is laid in the past on specific transport modes, kinds of freight and trade sectors. In studies of realistic propositions for infrastructural investments often only transport which should make use of it was taken into account.However a modification in transport has mostly often much more consequences. A study of these transport activities on the micro level shows that trade firms consider transport more and more as an integrated part of the whole logistic process.
