Samenvatting
A study of the transport of handicapped people in the new town of Almere resulted in date which can be used for other towns as well. This article gives some background information on this study and an analysis of the prognoses on transport demand. Transport costs were estimated for 1985 and 2010, using adapted buses with and without special attendants and ALTEV, the alternative transport system especially designed for the handicapped.
