Samenvatting
The paper attempts to gauge interlocal commuting flows on the basis of a commuting matrix between employment regions. This disaggregation procedure is carried out in 2 alternative ways. First an explanatory model is created. By means of an iterative heuristic procedure the most probable flows between these places are estimated. Secondly, on the basis of entropy maximizing assumption a disaggregation of the interregional flows is carried out.
